Soccer starts

Ok so we are home from our first soccer practice. It was a lot of fun with our 6 little 3 year olds. We had one that played in the dirt, one that took lots of potty breaks, one that sat on the field, one that took lots of water breaks, one that kept wondering off, and one that really liked to play. It was a lot of fun and the kids seemed to have a good time too. Our first Game is September 8th so you will have to come out and join us what watch the kids. They really are really cute and all really seem to enjoy it. Here are some pictures....

All lined up ready to play

Back from the doctors

OK so we are back from the doctors with Jon. Everything is healing the way it should and he will go back to work on Tuesday after the holiday. He is encouraged to walk on it to make it stronger and only needs to use the crutches if he feels he needs them. He will have to go through Physical Therapy. We have some really neat pictures from the scope that we will have to scan and may put on here. We found out that it was not stretched it was just completely removed. So at this point it is just a matter of making it stronger and teaching him to reuse it correctly!

All in all it is not as bad as I thought it would be. He is walking around right now. I hope that life will get back to normal soon!

WOW!!!

Ok so we were not in the mood today to actually cook dinner so we called to order a pizza. Well the Pizza Hut in Villa Rica sucks so we decided to try the Domino's. Well Jon called and to our surprize they now have an automated answering service that you can order with. What the heck is the world coming to. So instead of pizza and the delievery fee (WTH) we opted for the healthier KFC. Fried Chicken, homestyle biscuits, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and green beans all prepared in less than 10 minutes.

OH well.....

Well I was hoping to be posting pictures of Alex's first soccer practice but alas...it was cancelled. It has rained here all day. We hope to get practice in on Friday but it looks like it might not happen either. More rain for Friday. We are not going to complain though we need the rain. Oh well maybe next week!

Having Children...

It is so wonderful to have more than one child. Today we were all laying in the bad with Daddy and Alex was talking to Abby and she grinned at him so Alex belly laughed. Well his belly laugh turned into Abby's giggle. Which made me and Jon laugh. It was so wonderful with us all laughing together. That is just one of the things that makes having children so wonderful. They really do love each other and it shows throughout the day. Alex runs over to his sister and gives her a kiss or a hug at random points in the day and Abby just watched Alex's every move. They are wonderful and we are truely blessed to have them both.

Also here is an update on Jon, He is doing well. Just tired and his knee hurts but that is to be expected. He is doing really well with it all and is just such a trooper. However he doesn't like the fact that he can't do what he wants when he wants. lol Like get the baby when she is crying. Like now! Well off to sooth the sleepy baby!

Update

Jon's surgery went well. The only downside was that they were not about to repair it they had to remove more than they thought would be necessary because of a tear up and down as well as the tear that they knew about. He has a follow up appointment next Thursday and he hopes to return to work the following Monday. We are unsure about physical therapy and how long at this point that he will have to be on the crutches. We will hopefully find out that at the follow up appointment. But as of right now he is fine laying on the sofa bed cuddling with the kids.

Thanks for all of your continued love and support,

Jon, Christina, Alex, and Abby Cunningham

Hi and Welcome!!!

Well as life gets busier we have decided to start a blog for our family. We will try to post weekly updates on everyone. Now I did say try. lol

As of right now, Jon has surgery tomorrow so Alex is going to go to Jim and Renee's house overnight tonight to spend the night so we don't have to get him up too early tomorrow. Abby will come with us. I will post an update on Jon tomorrow.

Abby's reflux seems to be under control now. Thankfully!!! The cereal seems to have made her a lot happier! I am hoping that that is all that we have to do. We also started her in her cloth diapers that she is now big enough to wear. She is up to 13 pounds even. Alex jumped on the scale too and he is up to 40 pounds!!!! That was shocking.

Alex is about to start soccer. Tonight is the meet and greet and then next Tuesday starts the first practice. They have practice Tuesday and Fridays until the season starts and then his first game is on September 8th. Then he will have Games Tuesday and Saturday then Practices on Friday. I will now be the Assistant Coach for Jon because he will not be able to run up and down the field. lol We took coaches training last Saturday and I realized that I am WAY out of shape. Jon thinks I did an ok job for never had played soccer before. lol

I think it is shaping up to be a fun next few months. Here are a few pictures for you all.
